Stella Artois - Gifting Stars Interactive Installation

December 2015

Brief

This is an installation made up of clusters of interactive and kinetic stars, represented by organically moving LEDs, 6m above the ground. In order to capture the scale of the night sky, the canopy of stars stretched 20m x 20m, and we doubled the impact by reflecting it all onto a mirrored floor. This gave people the opportunity to feel like they were walking through an infinite amount of stars.

When you reach your hand toward a start, one of them come down to your hand.

Five of the kinetic globes were special. When these stars were reached for, the canopy pulsed in a brilliant flash of white, and a DSLR hidden above captured a picture of the people reaching up from below - shareable to social media.

The installation was designed in London and toured in New-York City and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
