Dominic Harris - Nixie Tubes Interactive cold-cathode display

Brief

Cinimod Studio has worked with Studio XAG to create these two interactive windows for Level Shoes, a luxury shoe shop in the Dubai Mall, one of the biggest malls in the world.

- A interactive kinetic window composed of 5 individually rotating helixes on which the shoes are displayed. In Idle mode, the helixes show pre-recorded motion. Hidden sensors detect people from where they walk and the helixes rotate on their direction.

- An interactive window composed of 4 transparent displays and a led cabinet lighting, with a camera sensor detecting people gesture.

- Custom assembly of motors, driving electronics, sensor bar.

- Transparent display and LED strips with driving circuitry.
